Alliance!

July 28, 2003 by Traia

As of today Servants of the Lake joined the Dark Rage led RvR Alliance.

Members of this alliance now include Dark Rage, Forgotten Legends, Public Enemies and Servants of the Lake.

We are looking forward to the added co-operation between our guilds and hope for a lot of successful "zerg-busting". Good luck to Shorti in his role of Alliance Leader, we promise not to be too unruly!

Viva la Alliance!

100 Million GRP and Guild Update

July 22, 2003 by Traia

Congratulations and a big thanks to all our members today as Servants of the Lake ding One Hundred Million Guild Realm Points. This, however, does not mark the end of our RP hunt, instead gives us a lust for even more!

Our RvR groups have undergone a few changes recently, expect to see us back in RvR with a new group setup which we hope will prove even more challenging than the last.

As far as PvE and the Lake goes; our members continue to actively participate in Caer Sidi raids generously run by The Last Watch. Frequent trips have been made to the Summoner Hall RvR Dungeon in order to slay Grand Summoner Govannon, however the Grand Summoner's Silken Mantle still proves elusive. Also, a dedicated Diamond Seal farming is due to start soon, in an effort to raise funds for the upcomming Foundations patch.

Guild recruiting has reopened, we are primarily looking for Mercenaries, if you are interested in applying, check out our Principles section first!

Congratulations to Noblest who successfuly passed his Squire period and is now a Knight, and goodluck to Alphaville and Chimaira who began theirs last week.

A new website section has been created, Item Directory, to store details of all items gained by the Guild. Although not extensive at the moment, this section will expand in time.

Thats all for now, keep up the good work!

First RR10 on Prydwen and 90 Million GRP

May 03, 2003 by Traia

After a close contest with Lourker of Hibernia, Artifex, a Lurikeen Manachanter provided Prydwen with its first Briton Dragon Knight, and first RR10 player in the form of Servants of the Lake minstrel Coren. A huge congratulations from everyone in the guild to Coren, I believe we all share the sentiment of pride in having the first RR10!

On another note, the guild passed the 90 Million Realm Point mark during the same night, all in all an excellent RvR day for Servants of the Lake.

Patch 1.60, Guild RvR and Website Updates

April 30, 2003 by Traia

With patch 1.60 going live on the European servers, there was the usual flurry of activity before hand. Patch 1.60 is an important one for Albion and has been looked forward to for a long time by many of our guild, with some of our Minstrels and Sorcerers respeccing to reap the benefits offered to their classes.

Servants of the Lake has already been involved in the downing of the Albion dragon Golestandt providing vital Skills and Realm Respec Stones for the guild. Along with this, Soulfly lead the first successful Ogre's Might raid after the quest was fixed in the patch. Further details of these two raids will be posted soon to our events section.

The guild continues to perform well in all aspects of RvR on Prydwen, which sees us fast approaching the 100 Million Realm Points mark, expect a post notifying you when we do. The Minstrel and Sorcerer changes in this patch have been a welcome asset to our guild RvR groups, and we hope for our current successes to continue.

As you may have noticed the guild website has undergone some changes, with a new guild banner, events section, guild ranks, principals sections, updated members pages and a new look for our forum. Expect to see regular news and events updates, and a guild loot database going up shortly. Check back often!

Relic lost and recaptured!

April 19, 2003 by Duane

Hibernia managed to capture their strength relic back on Friday morning at 9am, after a long night of keep capturing by both Hibernia and Midgard. Luckily Albion managed to fend off further attacks from both realms to keep both the two remaining strength relics.

However we also managed to recapture the relic in less than a day! At 5am on Saturday we reclaimed the relic, restoring our 20% melee bonus from all three strength relics. Many thanks to all Albions who helped out, and great work done by Lochlyessa for organising it all!

80 million realm points!

April 16, 2003 by Duane

Bit of a slow news day (okay, its been a very slow news month :p), but we now have 80 million realm points! We're busy farming our way for even more, so keep watching. :)

Level 50s..

March 5, 2003 by Jenkz

Delket's Necromancer, Ink, was the first SI class to 50 today on Albion Prydwen. A huge grats to him from everyone. Xorta's Necromancer and Veralith's Reaver are also worth a mention both currently at 45.

Punchy (at long last, grats punch :), Teleena and Talen also hit 50 over the last couple of days!

Edit March 11, 2003: Xorta (Xort) and Veralith (Abocal) both dinged 50 on their Necromancer and Reaver respectivley. Grats! The first 50 Reaver!

Grand Summoner down!

February 22, 2003 by Duane

Tonight we decided to give the Grand Summoner a go!

Grand Summoner

Insidious Mithril Band

Insidious Summoner's Bracelet

Lustrous Summoner Breastplate

Only interesting drop was the ring, which dropped off one of the summoners before the Grand Summoner! We managed to get 2 breastplates and the bracelet, which weren't that impressive. Hopefully we'll get the cloak next time.

Website updates + Recruitment

February 18, 2003 by Jenkz

The roster and crafters pages are now up to date with the current roster (based on active members). Some of the profiles are still being finished, but all should be finished soon. Couple of new sections should appear soon including the long-lost loot database, rules+ranks, and an event log.

Also as posted here on the forum, Servants of the Lake are currently recruiting again, so post to the recruitment forum if you're interested and fit the requirements!

SotL Summoners Raid

February 10, 2003 by Jenkz

Saturday evening SotL managed to take down three summoners in the new RvR dungeon, SummonerHall

Summoner Cunovinda

Summoner Lossren

Summoner Roesia

Most loot drops were a joke, but the final summoner dropped a ring we were after: Insidious Golden Band (hits, strength 2x8% resist)

Happy New Year!

January 2, 2003 by Duane

A bit late, but happy new year! A few interesting things have happened since the last post.

We are the first guild on Prydwen to break 50 million realm points. Hopefully we should be gaining on Nolby Pride for the top English server guild, so expect us to be farming more realm points in Emain!

On Christmas Eve we managed to take the Hibernia Power relic, which we managed to keep for a few days. However dem hibbies managed to reclaim it a few days afterwards. Sadly this means Albion has no relics at all, but we'll be busy planning our next raids.

With Shrouded Isles being released next month, we look forward to what the rest of 2003 will bring us.

SotL/LoE 1 - Worm 0

December 16, 2002 by Duane

After a trip to Darkness Falls to kill Legion, we decided to go worm hunting.

Hello worm!

Us waving our sticks/swords at the worm

Victory! Dead worm!

We managed to get a Flute of Balefire, Ensorcelled Blade of Power, as well as two Wormskin Wrap's (one melee, one magic). Great work by both SotL and LoE for killing this beast!

Hibernia's strength relic captured!

November 24, 2002 by Duane

Yesterday we managed to help capture the Hibernian Strength Relic!

Ouroboros at Excalibur

This currently brings Albion to a total of 2 strength relics, with Midgard holding 3 and Hibernia with just 1. Great work by all Albion guilds involved, with a special mention going to Wels for hiding around Emain Macha waiting for everyone to help him get to the portal keep with the relic.

New website

November 9, 2002 by Duane

Welcome to the new website! Taken us a bit of time to get a new one up, but at long last its now here. Currently under construction, more things will be added at a later date. I'll be adding some nice useful features, with a more recent roster for you to see.

If there are any problems with the site, post a message on our forums.
