Guild Principles and Rules
Servants of the Lake, a guild based around experience, trust and friendship.
Our guild aims to achieve the pinnacle of enjoyment from the RvR system, for the realm of Albion. Achieving this by inside out knowledge of Albions classes, their strengths and weakness, and working as a close team to constantly improve ourselves. Developing new strategies and ideas for the changing RvR experience.
Realm vs. Realm
- You should know your class completely and how to use it to best effect in an RvR group.
- You should understand the other classes of Albion and how you can best work together to achieve our goals.
- Although we are an Albion guild, you are also expected to understand fully the strengths and weaknesses of the classes of Hibernia and Midgard, as we will face them in battle.
- You should be able to form and lead an RvR group. Know your way around the frontiers, which spots are strategically important and are frequented by Hibernia and Midgard.
- You are expected to take an active role in Realm Defense, be this defending our Relics or capturing the enemies.
Player vs. Environment
- Although we are primarily an RvR guild, PvE events are not uncommon, and you are expected to perform equally well in this situation.
- You should understand the need for PvE to support the guild; crafters, drops and experience.
- You should understand the need for PvE even after you have all that you need, others may not.
- Drops and Loot, in a game such as this trust is vital, you are expected to hand all drops from guild raids to the raid leader, which will then be distrubted at the end. Anyone caught witholding loot will be dealt with severly.
Conduct (in game and out)
- You are expected at all times to remain courteous and respectful in dealings with others. Frequent disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated, we are after all here for each other.
- Our relations with others in the realm are important to us, remember your actions will reflect on us all, be this in game, on IRC or via internet forums.
- Servants of the Lake does not tolerate cheating of any sort, if caught expect to be swiftly removed.
Alts
- It is understandable why people may wish to play and level alts, however please remember you were recruited for your main character, and are expected to play it actively.
- In some cases, it is possible to have you main character changed, however the alt must be level 50 and you should have spoken to and obtained the consent of one of our guildmasters first.
If after reading this you believe you would gain from being a member of Servants of the Lake, and have something to offer us, please read the recruitment section of our forums.
